Dr. Vitabile received his Dr. Ing. degree (M.S.E.E.) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Palermo in 1994.

In 1999, Dr. Vitabile received his doctoral degree in Computer Science from the University of Palermo.

Dr. Vitabile is currently Researcher at the High Performance Computing and Networking Institute (ICAR) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) in Palermo, Italy.
He is, also, member of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Palermo, Italy.
